Mandie Schake is an Occupational Therapist and Yoga Teacher who specializes in neuro rehabilitation and hypermobility. She began practicing yoga in 1996 and it has been a grounding force in her life ever since. She obtained her RYT-200 certificate through Yoga Medicine in 2018 and is currently working on her RYT-500 hour and Therapeutic Yoga Specialist certifications. Ever the student, she also holds certifications in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, vision therapy, therapeutic pain neuroscience, and functional nutrition.
Her intention with clients is to provide a welcoming and inclusive space for individuals to explore the physical and mental benefits of yoga. Practicing with Mandie will emphasize alignment and stability in order to receive the energetic benefits of the practice. Her hope is to facilitate empowerment in one’s ability to practice yoga on and off the mat, while developing a deep understanding of mind/body connection that fosters a practice throughout the lifespan.
